On the riverfront of The Woodlands Mall, the fourth North Italia that DCC erected has a unique setting. Gerry Harbinson, the project manager, is especially proud of his ability to successfully manage several design elements, such as the waterfront terrace and bar that extends the whole length of the building, the main entry tower, and the patio structure. Complete interior and exterior demolition of the former tenant was necessary for the new restaurant build out in order to make place for all new kitchen, bar, and dining facilities, both public and private. In addition to managing the steelwork, kitchen, bar, HVAC, refrigeration, grease, electrical, plumbing, and fire equipment projects as the general contractor, DCC also collaborated with the health and building agencies.
The Italian eatery by Cheesecake Factory’s will be it’s seventh site in Texas and will provide full dine-in service, takeaway, and delivery using the brand’s online ordering system and its exclusive delivery partner DoorDash. For DCC, this kind of work is our focus – full service in line projects with high-end touches are what DCC does best. A crucial aspect to the continued success of the restaurant team is fostering strong relationships with our restaurant clients – as almost all of new opportunities come from referrals.
A huge congratulations is in order to the builders and teams who made this restaurant opening a success. Thank you to our client Cheesecake Factory, Architect Craig Oka AIA, and the DCC team (PX – Chris NightingalePM – Gerry Harbinson PC – Emile Bayme Superintendent – Andrew Murdoch FOM – Brian Prescott)
