DCC Completes 2nd North Italia Project

One of the hottest Italian restaurant networks recently landed at one of San Diego’s hottest shopping areas—One Paseo—and DCC was there for it all! Located about 15 minutes south of our Carlsbad, CA office, the North Italia is the perfect, beautiful addition to the outdoor dining and shopping destination. 

This is the second North Italia completed by Dickinson Cameron, we also worked on the brand’s North Carolina location, and we love it as much as the first. The restaurant interior is a whopping 6,000 sf. plus a 1,500 sf. patio/exterior space. 

The build required:

• Underground work and new slab
• Mezzanine with fire-rated fan rooms and equipment platforms
• Chilling pipe system
• All new meter, transformer, C/T, switchgear and lighting package
• T/G wood, mdf and blackened steel wood covers

The final product featured:

• A monoglass ceiling 
• Polished concrete
• Antique brass finish mirrors
• Custom upholstery booths
• Marble dining room tables in dining room

While this project had a three-week permitting/licensing delay, Dickinson Cameron Construction still managed to keep things on track, finish on time and hand over the project to our clients on October 14, 2019 … just in time for the holidays!
