Dickinson Cameron Construction was charged with overseeing the build of the Chanel Palm Beach temporary store. This project was unique in a few ways, mainly that we were charged with building a temporary store in just 3 weeks at The Esplanade Shopping Center on Worth Avenue. This build ran from April 14 to April 30.
Once Chanel had the temporary store up and operating, we began demolition on May 1, 2019. This project required a complete demolition of existing interior and removal of some existing structural columns. 4000 sf of sales was added along with two new elevator systems; two VIP restrooms; a new grand staircase; and all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. Finally, the stone facade was beautifully restored on the exterior of the Palm Beach Chanel location. We turned over the completed store on November 8, 2019 and the store re-opened on November 15.
We are proud to say that DCC met all LEED requirements set by client.
