Dickinson Cameron recently completed their third consecutive expansion and renovation of the Cartier store in South Coast Plaza, California. This ambitious project, spanning 8,182 square feet and combining two lease spaces, aimed to redefine luxury retail by seamlessly blending Cartier’s iconic style with the vibrant essence of Orange County’s landscape.
Balancing the integration of modern design elements with Cartier’s signature style while capturing the essence of Orange County’s landscape, the project showcased the design team’s expertise in blending modern aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship, evident in the incorporation of intricate details and custom-designed elements.
Attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident in features such as the new facade, chandeliers, artwork, mosaic flooring with radial color pattern, stone walls, custom-made GFRG columns, highlighting the team’s skill in coordinating and executing complex and intricate designs.
Acknowledgment goes to the design firm Moinard Betaille agency, the Cartier design & construction teams, the architectural firm Gensler, and all the craftsmen and artisans involved, who collaborated to bring Cartier’s vision to life. The project’s success also reflects the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved, from concept development to final installation.
