If you don’t know James, you are missing out! James Mather joined Dickinson Cameron in 2012 and serves as a Project Executive for some of our most important clients, such as Apple and Chanel. James’ energetic passion for innovative building and construction management systems stems from a long lineage of family builders. A third-generation carpenter and superintendent by trade running large crews for multifamily, low rise, hospitality, skilled healthcare, restaurants, public works, in-line and of course luxury retail. With over 35 years of diverse construction experience, James’ previous role as a Superintendent, Senior Project Manager and VP of Operations provides DCC teams with a superior coach and mentor.
When asked what one of his proudest career moments is, he said “I created and managed a 24-hour (6) shift construction schedule with two of our Superintendents. The goal being delivery on our commitment to a (3) day store closing versus several weeks of night work. Men, materials, crews and premanufactured items started work every 4 hours. The build felt like a rock and roll orchestra on fast forward and finished with a happy client and satisfied operations team.”
We are glad to have James on our team and are looking forward to celebrating his 7-year Anniversary at DCC next month. In his time off, James enjoys drag racing his diesel truck, innovating, photography and spending time with his best friend and wife, Tara.
