Mikimoto Flagship Opens on New York’s Fifth Avenue

The awe-inspiring flagship store located at 750 5th Avenue in New York City reopened on February 23rd after comprehensive renovations. The 4,200 sqft space was designed by Fresco and executed by executive architects, Gensler. Encompassing two levels, the entrance welcomes guests with one-of-a-kind European crystal chandeliers suspended from its 20′ high ceilings, marble-clad walls, and undulating mirrors. Guests can embark up the stairs or use the elevator both finished with crushed pearl wallpaper. The second-floor sales area continues the serene underwater theme, featuring displays perched on undulating metal supports and private VIP rooms. The curvaceous interior exemplifies movement and beautiful attention to detail to which the building and construction team undertook. In addition to the sales area, the scope included an employee basement level and back of house facilities.
