Chanel Turns to DCC to Build Out Their Houston Galleria Flagship Store

Dickinson Cameron Construction (DCC) and Chanel have been in a relationship since 2002 — the year we collaborated on our first Chanel construction project. Since that first date, we have worked together to complete nearly a dozen amazing Chanel stores, in destinations like Honolulu, Bal Harbor Florida, Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens, Los Angeles, and Orange County, California.

In 2007, we built out a fabulous new store for the brand on Rodeo Drive. In 2010, the 10,000 square foot Chanel flagship store in Boston was built by DCC — designed by AD100 Architect’s Peter Marino — was featured in Architectural Digest.

Today, in addition to the 8,000 square foot Chanel venue in progress at South Coast Plaza in California, DCC has been tapped to bring to life Chanel’s 8100 square foot flagship store in the prestigious Houston Galleria. With over 400 high-end stores and mixed-use tenants, the Galleria is the fourth largest shopping center in the nation. DCC built the temporary store at this venue, but all eyes will be on the grand opening of the luxurious new flagship Chanel store in November.
